All the swimming races will take place at Livadi of Serifos, the day after the running races, starting from Avlomonas Beach, infront of Calma beach bar. Participants will swim through the crystal blue sea of Serifos.
 
The 3000m particpants will swim an Olympic triangle (of 1500m) twice, within the Livadi bay, giving the opportunity to both amateur and more experienced athletes to participate. Swimming aids are allowed, but will not be taken into competition account.
 
Children can participate given that they practice in swimming races annually, and have a written permission from their parents.
 
In the swimming races there will be special Lifeguard boards available and all the safety equipment in general.
 
The Lifesaving Coverage of the swimming races will be taken over by a team of lifeguards recognised by the Ministry of Shipping and Island policy.
 
Swimming aids*
On the 3,000m route, we will allow people to participate in flippers, masks, respirators and other devices. The use of prosthetic will need to be reported at the registration desk when receiving the bid numbers.
*Participants using swimming aids will not get ranked
 
Wet Suit- Uniforms Uniforms are permitted. Uniform wearers will ranked differently. Participants are only allowed to wear uniforms if they inform the registration desk.
 
Everyone participating in the 3 km swimming race is recommended to have passed recently a medical examination
 
PRIZES

1. Prizes and gifts for the first 3 men and the first 3 women.
2. Classification and gifts to the first man and the first woman who will combine both sports as following: 5 km run and 750m swim, 10km run and 1500m swim (with limitation to at least 10 participants).
